the service

BirdyBeep is a notification utility that sends a push to your phone when your AI coding agents (such as Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode) emit lifecycle events that may need your attention. It is notify-only: at launch it does not let you approve, reply to, or otherwise act on an agent remotely.

accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account and any machine tokens secure. Machine tokens are shown once; rotate or revoke them from the app if one is exposed. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service.

fair use & what unlimited means

Plus includes unlimited beeps. “Unlimited” means a current Plus account used for ordinary personal use with AI coding agents has no monthly beep quota. It does not mean an unlimited request rate, unlimited simultaneous push destinations, unlimited infrastructure consumption, or permission to interfere with the service. Free accounts remain subject to the monthly allowance shown on our pricing page.

When a plan description says devices or agent installs are unlimited, it means there is no commercial plan quota on them. Reasonable technical safety ceilings may still apply to active push destinations and other fan-out that could multiply a single event into excessive work.

To keep BirdyBeep reliable and affordable, we use plan-neutral safeguards such as rate limiting, burst controls, duplicate-event detection and suppression, and reasonable fan-out ceilings. These safeguards apply to every plan. They may temporarily delay, refuse, combine, or suppress events when traffic is repeated, automated, malformed, or likely to harm the service or other users. They do not turn ordinary personal use into an undisclosed monthly quota.

prohibited conduct

Use BirdyBeep only for lawful purposes and only with accounts, machines, agents, and devices you control or are authorized to use. You may not:

• send notifications to people who have not consented to receive them;
• use BirdyBeep as a broadcast or bulk-notification service, resell the service, share a personal account as a service for others, or commercially relay third-party traffic without our written permission;
• evade or attempt to evade a usage quota, rate limit, or safety control, including by creating or rotating accounts, tokens, machines, integrations, or device identities;
• generate intentionally duplicative, malformed, or excessive automated traffic, or perform load testing, stress testing, vulnerability scanning, or similar testing without our written permission;
• probe, access, or interfere with accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to use; or
• disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, impose a disproportionate infrastructure burden, or impair another person's use of BirdyBeep.

how we enforce these rules

Safeguards may act automatically by rate-limiting, rejecting, combining, delaying, or suppressing events. When needed, we may also revoke a machine or device credential, restrict an integration, or suspend or terminate an account. We aim to use a proportionate response based on the conduct's severity, repetition, and risk.

Where reasonably practicable and the risk allows, we will provide notice to your account email and an opportunity to correct the issue before suspending or terminating access. We may act immediately against an active attack, fraud, illegal conduct, a security or privacy risk, or conduct likely to cause material harm to BirdyBeep, our providers, or other users.

If you believe a safeguard or enforcement action was applied incorrectly, contact support@birdybeep.com and we will review it. We may change technical thresholds as traffic and threats evolve, but we will not use those changes to impose an undisclosed monthly beep quota on Plus. To protect the service, we do not have to publish thresholds or operational details that would enable evasion. Consistent with our Privacy Policy, we do not retain notification title or body content to enforce these rules.

subscriptions & billing

BirdyBeep offers a Free plan and a Plus plan. Plus is $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year, billed through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel through your app store account. Free-plan and Plus-plan limits are described on our pricing page, and the meaning of unlimited is defined above.

disclaimers

BirdyBeep is provided “as is.” Notification delivery depends on third-party push services and your device and network, and is not guaranteed to be timely or reliable; do not rely on it as the sole mechanism for time-critical or safety-critical decisions.

termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Subject to the enforcement process above, we may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or when necessary to protect the service, our providers, or other users.

changes & governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Mojave Labs LLC is the operator of BirdyBeep.
